Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 High Speed Blender
  • 1 Measuring Cups
  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Knife
  • Serving glass or smoothie bowl

Method

  1. Wash, peel, and chop the carrots into small pieces.
  2. Add the carrots, banana, Greek yogurt, orange juice, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, and ice cubes to a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend for 60–90 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness with honey or maple syrup if needed. Add a pinch of cinnamon or fresh ginger for extra flavor if desired.
  5. Pour into glasses or bowls, add your favorite toppings, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Freeze the banana for a thicker and creamier smoothie.
  • Add more almond milk if the smoothie is too thick.
  • Blend in chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fiber and omega-3s.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan-friendly version (along with plant-based yogurt).
